Please join Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orléans
In celebrating the 14th anniversary of its annual French festival, la Fête Française. Ecole Bilingue’s Fête proudly honors New Orleans’ connection to French food, arts and culture. Our theme this year, Bleu, Blanc, Rouge, promises to inspire an exciting event which will take place at the school’s main campus located at 821 General Pershing Street, (between Magazine and Constance streets).
This fun-filled event celebrates all things uniquely French and helps to keep the Francophone heritage alive and well in New Orleans and in Louisiana through a variety of food, entertainment, children’s activities and cultural demonstrations.
One of the highlights of Fête is the delicious food from the area’s top-tier restaurants. In addition to the great food, the festival will feature great music from fabulous local musicians. Children’s games, face painting, a rock-climbing wall and more will provide entertainment for children of all ages. The Fête will also include a silent auction, featuring work from many area local artists and a raffle.
Proceeds from Fête will support Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orléans, the only private French immersion school in New Orleans that serves over 180 students from 18 months of age through 6th grade. Ecole Bilingue follows the French National Curriculum, a highly esteemed academic program, respected throughout the world and is one of only two French immersion schools in New Orleans that is accredited by the French Ministry of Education, an arm of the French government.
